A high-ranking Vatican delegation is visiting Lesvos

A high-ranking Vatican delegation is visiting Lesvos on Wednesday. According to sources, members of the delegation will visit Moria’s camp and will have contacts with organisations on the island.

The delegation consists of Cardinal Konrad Krajewski, Almoner of the Papal Charities, Luxembourg Archbishop and President of the Commission of the Bishops’ Conferences of the European Union (COMECE), Jean-Claude Hollerich, a delegation of the community of Sant ‘Egidio and many journalists.

On Saturday, the Vatican delegation will visit Samos.
