Achtsioglou turns over ministry’s unused ground floor to blood donation center

Greece’s Minister of Labor, Social Insurance and Social Solidarity Effie Achtsioglou on Tuesday announced the turning over of a store on the ministy’s ground floor on 29 Stadiou Street, for use by the National Blood Donation Center.

The anouncement was posted on Achtsioglou’s Facebook account, where she says the site will function as a blood donation room, to which volunteers will have access besides hospital premises, “as is the case throughout Europe,” says Achtsioglou.

Furthermore, the Labor Minister said the handover will also revive an “otherwise empty arcade”, on the ministry building’s ground floor.
