ELSTAT: Vacant job positions up 193.4 pct in Q4 2018, report says

The number of vacant job positions in the Greek economy soared 193.4 pct in the fourth quarter of 2018 compared with the same period in 2017, totaling 8,288 positions, after a 55.3 pct decline recorded in the same period in 2017/2016, Hellenic Statistical Authority said in a report released on Monday.

The statistics service, in a report, said that vacant job positions are considered either new job positions, an already vacant position or a position likely to be vacant soon. All these job positions refer only to wage earners.
