EOT tourism event in Verona to promote Greece as year-round destination

A special event is to be held in the Italian city of Verona today, Tuesday, to promote Greece as an ideal tourist destination throughout the year.

The promotional event is organized by the Greek National Tourism Organization (EOT) of Italy, in cooperation with Greece’s Aegean Airlines and the city’s airport authority.

The head of EOT in Italy, Kyriaki Boulasidou, will detail the opportunities Greece offers as a tourist destination year-round, while Aegean Airlines will present the company’s flight schedule from Verona to Greek destinations.

Verona airport’s chief executive will also address the event.

Furthermore, EOT is also sponsoring a press trip for two Italian journalists, from now until May 24, to Tinos island and the Peloponnese, as part of the Greek tourism ministry’s promotional strategy.

The Italian journalists will be able to attend the gastronomy festival Tinos Food Paths 2019 (May 13-19), and will also tour historical sites in Mani and Monemvasia in the Peloponnese.
