FM Dendias welcomes unanimous EU stance against Turkish drilling

Greek Foreign Affairs Minister Nikos Dendias on Monday welcomed what he called the “unanimous stance” of EU foreign ministers against Turkish drilling in Cyprus’ waters, in statements to the press after the meeting of EU Foreign Affairs Council held in Brussels on Monday.

Dendias also expressed confidence that “after this extensive debate, the results, when published, will be in the right direction,” which will be “that of reminding Turkey of international law and of the consequences that a behavior incompatible with international law may bring.”
