German official meets with Dev’t Minister Georgiadis

Germany’s Parliamentary State Secretary at the Economic Cooperation & Development Federal Ministry Norbert Barthle met with Development and Investments Minister Adonis Georgiadis on Thursday.

Barthle, who is the German chancellor’s representative at the Greek-German Assembly, said the Greek government was “sending new signals in Europe and especially Germany” that encouraged further collaboration and investments.

On his part, Georgiadis said that the two discussed the promotion of economic cooperation and Germany’s participation at the Thessaloniki International Fair.

Barthle is in Greece to attend a two-day conference ending Friday on the future of Europe, organized by the Hellenic-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
