Greek Justice minister meets in Athens with Russia’s prosecutor genera

Greek Justice Minister Michalis Kalogirou met with Prosecutor General of Russia Yuri Chaika in Athens on Wednesday in the framework of long-standing collaboration of the two countries as defined by international and bilateral agreements.

A Justice Ministry statement said that both sides underlined the historic friendship of the two countries, while Kalogirou noted the importance of the exchange of information and know-how, especially after the conclusion of the loan agreements by Greece, and its efforts to improve judicial procedures.

The meeting was also attended by Justice Ministry Secretary General George Sarlis, Russian Ambassador to Athens Andrei Maslov, Supreme Court Prosecutor Xeni Dimitriou and several deputy prosecutors of the same court.
