Jumbo says annual sales up 7.8 pct

Jumbo Group on Monday said its sales rose 7.8 pct in the year that ended in June 2019 totaling 812.2 million euros from 753.3 million in the previous year.

Sales in Greece rose around 3.5 pct, in Romania sales soared more than 30 pct, in Bulgaria sales rose around 9.0 pct and in Cyprus, sales increase around 2.0 pct. Jumbo operates a network of 79 stores, of which 52 in Greece, 5 in Cyprus, 9 in Bulgaria and 13 in Romania. The board expects this year’s sales to rise by an average rate of 5.0 pct.
