Light quake jolts the island of Halki

A light quake measuring 4.5 on the Richter scale was recorded at 17:51 on Saturday 33km southeast of the island of Halki.

According to the National Seismologic Network and Geodynamics Institute of Athens National Observatory the quake epicentre was located 429 km east-northeast of Athens and 33 km southeast of Halki.

No damages or injuries were reported.
