Misdemeanour charges filed against eight people involved in OAKA incidents on Sun.

Misdemeanour charges were filed on Monday against eight persons detained over incidents at Sunday’s Panathinaikos-Olympiacos football game in OAKA stadium.

The misdemeanours include cursing, resistance to authority, breaking of the peace, and bodily harming and attempting to bodily harm police.

The eight are banned from appearing at football games until their trial concludes, and will be tried at a city court.

Sunday’s game was interrupted at the 70th minute, with Olympiacos leading 1-0, when a number of individuals entered the green and attacked those sitting at the Olympiacos bench.
