President Prokopis Pavlopoulos to Turkey: ‘Peace, but in respect of the Law’

Greek President Prokopios Pavlopoulos aired a message of peace to Turkey on Saturday, on the sidelines of his visit to Delos island’s archaeological site, on occasion of the official presentation of Sir Antony Gormley’s ‘Sight” exhibition.

“From the island of Delos, of myth and history, we, the Greeks, send to our neighboring peoples, especially to Turkey, the message that we are determined to live peacefully with all and share the principles and values of this culture,” he underlined.

At the same time, he stressed that “we are just as determined and unremitting to fully defending this culture, on the basis of full, honest respect for European and international law,” clarified the Greek President.
